Singin’ in the Rain
It’s Friday, and you’re probably ready for the weekend. We’re posting our first Friday Singin’ in the Rain today to put you in the mood for a couple of days off. This Friday, we start off with the classic: Singin’ In The Rain, from the best musical ever. Gene Kelly uses his umbrella to great effect, swirling, twirling, and dancing around in celebration of new love. It’s a timeless theme and if you don’t love it, you’re wrong and you should feel bad.
We should all take a page out of Gene Kelly’s book. Life’s pretty good and we should celebrate it. Even rainy days aren’t so bad. Of course, Gene caught a serious bug while dancing around using his umbrella as a prop and ended up with a fever of 103 degrees. So, if you feel like dancing in the rain, use your umbrella for its intended purpose. Don’t let us stop you from expressing yourself, though – we just think you should bring two umbrellas if you want to swing one around for a dance routine.
